OUR TRAINING PROGRAM
Basic level
Participants:
- Gain a basic knowledge of the coffee plant, of the coffee industry and the Italian coffee culture;
- Learn the basics of the espresso technology, the operation of the coffee machine and the grinder;
- Learn to conform to professional and hygienic standards while working behind the counter;
- Acquire the practical knowledge to prepare drinks according to the Italian espresso standards.
Barista training
This is a module system training, following the basic level training program. You can chose from the following modules:
- Preparing traditional drinks, according to the original recipes;
- The Viennese School;
- Alcohol-free coffee specialities;
- Cold coffee drinks;
- The espresso quality - setting the grinder and the machine;
- Basics of Latte Art - special pouring techniques, the art of foam shaping;
- Marketing from behind the counter - guest experience and techniques of marketing;
- Coffee tasting - according to the rules of the Coffee Tasting World Championship, Brasilian technique;
- Roasting - theory, visiting a roasting factory, tasting sample roasted coffee.
